I visited for dinner for the first time, and unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations. The dining room was surprisingly empty, which was concerning. The bread did not taste fresh, the food also lacked freshness, and the drinks prepared by the blonde waitress were disappointing. The atmosphere felt dull and uninviting, and the service was equally underwhelming. She was not attentive, and overall, the level of hospitality was disappointing. I also learned about the cake incident involving another customer, and I find that absolutely appalling. Experiences like that are difficult to overlook. Sir John has always been kind, welcoming, and a pleasure to deal with, which makes it even more unfortunate that these issues continue to overshadow what could otherwise be a great restaurant.

Sir John is an excellent owner and very kind to all his customers. However, they have high employee turnover. I don't know why? One time we had a party there & asked for the leftover cake. The daughter says there's no more left. Meanwhile, I came back to pick up my phone. And they were serving the leftover cake to other customers. Don't bother complaining, because the daughter comes up with excuses. Never again

Perfect, can't wait to return! Stopping in for a fresh cappuccino, the table placards for many flavors of Tartufo convinced me to splurge on an amaretto truffle with my beverage. DELICIOUS, it did not disappoint, cold, creamy, and not overly sweet. The cappucchino was the perfect taste, topped with cinnamon and fresh cream. It was an honor to meet the proprietor there; he graciously surprised me with some delicious Italian cookies at the end of my experience. That's Italian!! This well maintained restaurant with great Italian home cooking feels authentic. Can't wait to return!!

Convenient location in its own commercial plaza with ample parking. Lots of natural light. Friendly waitstaff and clean bathrooms. Wholesome food at fair prices, including “hinged” rolls containing foodstuff which locals call “wedges.” The Westchester Libertarian Party regularly meets here.

Wholesome and authentic Italian food at fair prices, plus sandwiches which locals call "wedges." Friendly waitstaff. No beer on draft but they have about four bottled. Clean bathroom and dining room receives lots of natural light. Tasteful decorations. In October 2022 the Westchester Libertarian Party gathered at this location.
